Okay, jroller.com seems to not find the custom.css files, and can therefor not show the weblog site correct. So, all my changes got lost and therefor I just reinstalled the sotto-Theme. Using Gnome Blog

This blog entry is written entirely with the Gnome Blog application. If you are using Debian, just apt-get install gnome-blog and you are done ๐Ÿ™‚ You will find this application in the Accessoires. You have to make the following entries in the preferences: BlogProtocol: BloggerAPI XML-RPC URL: http://www.jroller.com/xmlrpc Type in your username and password, and you are done ๐Ÿ™‚

Eclipse and Debian

I have to admit, that I use Eclipse as my primary Java IDE. I will probably try NetBeans as well, but up until now, I really have no reason to change ๐Ÿ™‚ The only thing missing right now is a pre-packaged Debian package. One of the probs there will be probably that Eclipse uses plugins, and they should be installed with Eclipse. But the user using Eclipse will normally not have the rights to deploy...

Sony PCG 616 and Touchpad and Debian

To get the touchpad working under 2.6.5 I just downloaded (because it is still in unstable, therefor you can also use pinning, but I think that just downloading is way easier :-)) the http://packages.debian.org/unstable/x11/xfree86-driver-synaptics package. I also edited the XF86-config file. This was really easy ๐Ÿ™‚ Now everthing works fine. I have now installed gtkpod to sync my iPod with linux. ...
